Hi! Welcome to La Perla Bouviers. We are a family of Bouvier des Flandres breeders located in Scottsdale, AZ. Our love of Bouviers goes back over 30 years, when our first Bouvier, Basha, came into our family. Since then, our love of the breed has grown, as has our pack of dogs. We are committed to breeding healthy, intelligent Bouviers that are an excellent representation of the breed, and make wonderful working, family, or show dogs. Our puppies have gone on to work on farms, win championship titles in confirmation, herding, and sporting events, and have even worked as service dogs. We take pride in the contribution our puppies make and feel blessed to have our wonderful Bouviers in our lives.
We give all our dogs the same love and attention as we would any family member – as they are truly members of our family. They’re raised in our home with our children, grandchildren, friends, and extended family. They are socialized early and often, and as a result, become stable and friendly dogs. Don’t let their typically friendly demeanor fool you though – as is common in the Bouvier breed, they are fiercely loyal protectors of their family, and their highly intelligent nature makes them very good at discerning threats.
As die-hard lovers of Bouvier des Flandres, we will continue our mission to breed excellent representations of the breed. We anticipate our next litter will be due in March 2021. We do not accept payments to hold puppies because we want our dogs to go to homes that truly want them, not to those who feel obligated to accept them because of a non-refundable deposit. We typically have our puppies’ ear’s cropped, however, we do allow puppies to be sold with natural ears if desired. We also pair our puppies with the appropriate families, meaning that we perform multiple temperament tests and observe their personalities before matching them with the right families. For example, some puppies will make better working dogs, while others will make better show dogs or family pets. All puppies receive appropriate and necessary veterinary care, including but not limited to: vaccinations, deworming, and tail-docking.
